Latin Inspired Designs

Latin Inspired Designs is a family business. We specialize in the only authentically designed Latin-style Nutcracker doll Collection™. These collectible nutcracker-style dolls are made in designs that honor and celebrate the traditions and beauty of Mexican culture and art forms. Mother, Olivia and daughter, Susana are co-founders of Latin Inspired Designs and are the designers and creators of these beautifully handcrafted and hand painted nutcrackers, all made in the U.S .

Our company was birthed out of the simple desire to have an authentically designed Mariachi Nutcracker for the holidays. When we could not find an accurate representation of the Mariachi we decided that we would create something that did. For us, it is not simply about making and selling a doll. It is about making something that honors, represents, and celebrates our cultural heritage through a medium that is not traditionally associated with the Latino culture – the simple nutcracker-style doll. Everything about our dolls are purposely made. The designs, materials, embellishments, accessories, facial features, even their open hearts. Everything has special meaning, which makes the dolls even more unique and special.

We have created our fun Latin-style nutcrackers so that anyone that enjoys and collects nutcrackers can add a touch of Latin splash to their collection. Even if you are not a nutcracker enthusiast, if you collect Latin art and decor this is a great addition for you or a great gift for someone you know. You can enjoy and proudly display these beautiful dolls to commemorate Mexican holidays such as Cinco de mayo or Dia de los Muertos (Day of the Dead), to celebrate a proud historical art form such as the ballet folklorico or simply to enjoy throughout the year. It is our hope that these beautifully hand crafted nutcrackers will be enjoyed not only by the Hispanic community but also by anyone who is a doll or nutcracker collector, Latino art enthusiast or a participant and/or a follower of the art of Mariachi and the Ballet Folklorico, regardless of their cultural roots.
